Lani holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration, and prior to embarking on her real estate career, worked as a medical technician for over 8 years. As a military wife, she became well acquainted with frequent relocation, living in Washington State, Colorado, Washington D.C. and Central Texas.

A licensed real estate broker since1982, Lani holds the designations of Graduate of Realtors Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR).

She is married to Dr. Richard Liggett and has one son, Timothy, who resides in Louisiana.
